Registration Open: XR VisionDevCamp Fukuoka 2026 (June 26–28)

Registration is now open for XR VisionDevCamp Fukuoka 2026, a 2.5-day spatial-computing hackathon taking place June 26–28, 2026 at Engineer Café in CIC Fukuoka (ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.). IoTone Japan is proud to return as a general sponsor.

Hackathon Overview

XR VisionDevCamp continues nearly two decades of hackathon heritage — from iPhoneDevCamp (2007–2009) through VisionDevCamp (2024–2025) to this expanded 2026 edition spanning the full XR spectrum.

  • Collaboration over competition. Teams share code and knowledge.
  • All ages and experience levels welcome. No qualification gate; beginners get in-event learning sessions and active staff support for team formation.
  • Bilingual. Japanese and English spoken throughout the event.
  • Teams of 1–6 (solo entries welcome). Participants may join multiple teams.
  • Loaner hardware provided during the event.

Developers build for the full spatial-computing lineup — Apple Vision Pro, Android XR, Meta Quest, Snap Spectacles, Xreal, and HTC devices.

Format

The weekend culminates in a hackathon, AR Expo, and Closing Awards. Judging is intentionally flexible — judges may invent new categories on the spot if a project deserves recognition. Winners receive social media validation, publicity, and small monetary prizes.
