Two Apps Launch on Google Play for XREAL Aura and Android XR

IoTone Japan has launched two new applications on the Google Play store as part of today’s XREAL Aura launch. The Aura is the first XR glasses form factor available for Android XR.

We were selected as part of a small group of developers to participate in the pre-launch program, and we have been building on the XREAL Aura since May of 2026.

DianaXR

DianaXR is a spatially aware AI agent that speaks many languages and can converse in yours. The agent understands some limited ASL and can perform simple tasks on your behalf.

The most telling part of the experience is having a companion nearby to bounce ideas around, practice a language, check the weather, look up facts, or identify things in your field of view. DianaXR launches in the US and Japan.

Meshmore XR

Meshmore XR is the world’s first XR-based LoRa mesh networking application, built for the Meshcore protocol. Based on our own open source development, we track the upstream Meshcore firmware developments and offer a truly spatial Meshcore companion application.

The app requires a Meshcore node, available through many vendors. We have tested heavily with the SenseCAP T1000-E tracker as well as the M5 Unit C6L.

Meshmore XR is free and open source, with no ads and no features held back. It is part of a series of Meshcore companion apps that are true open source: not paywalled, not open core, and not closed source. The source code is published under a permissive academic license.
